I've only been out to go to the doctors a d for short walks around the block. I don't intend to go back to work untill I can go further afield and will be ok to travel on my own. However, some in my work have been in trouble before for posting on Facebook of their nights out, hangovers etc when they are off sick.
I don't put on Facebook things like partying. Some of my colleagues have asked me how I am. Put something such as still in pain. Then go into detail on messenger. Only times I have posted something on Facebook when on the sick were photos of me with dressings on my abdomen after gallbladder removed and when I had my first eyelid surgery last year. A woman I work with rang in sick, then proceeded to post photos all over social media of her doing this awesome mile cycle ride for charity.
She'd called in with sickness and diarrhoea so 48 hours minimum off work which may have been true - though I don't think so. If I saw someone from work out, I'd just assume they were on annual leave. I wouldn't 'shop' them. Not my business, nor do I care.

It does not store any personal data. Getting out of the house a bit helped me to see how far along I was in my recovery and how much I was able to do without feeling awful afterwards.
I did the school run for a few days 5 minute walk and went shopping once, a couple of days before returning to work. After the shopping trip I had to take a nap! I couldn't have done that if a morning at work had proved exhausting, lol. I was signed off with an issue with my arm! I couldn't physically do my job until it healed. I went out shopping, watching my kids in the park etc.
Just because ur signed off doesn't mean u have to sit all cooped up in the house! I'm a firm believer in fresh air helps u get better. Also I was signed of with nasty hg while pregnant and while I felt up to it if I could I would go out and have an hour. Mind there wasn't that many times I could pick myself up from the bathroom floor or bed but like I said If I could I would.
Anyway the doctor signed her of and told her to plan a few trips out shopping getting nails done etc things to relax the body and mind but something to keep busy! Anyway SAYING that if ur contagious and that's why the doc signed u off then I wouldn't be going out mainly for passing on ur infection to someone less able to cope with it. But if your sire ur over the infection and the doc just extended ur sick note to get u back on top form because ur pregnant also then I really cant see the harm in going to get a bra!
