Can you can after you freeze?? Will they be good for a yearmaybe if I double freezer bag it?? M blackberries and some other veggies lasted over a year and are still good. Real show no actors just the mum over the road. The food vac bags are so practical for freezing batches of mashed potatoes and left overs. I think if he put them on parchment paper it would have worked a little better to get them off the pan just a suggestion.

You can get more air out if you insert a straw in the end of the zipped lock bag, suck on the straw until all air is out of the bag, remove straw and finish zipping.

Well, I give credit for doing the video, but, using the French knife correctly and using a straw for vacuuming would improve the video. Never thought about freezing like this. Like this you can pull out the amount you want to cook and put the rest back in the freezer.
I saw your dill pickle mix in the background. I take the squash that get too big for my taste, cut them into spears and trim out the seeds. Then I pack them in jars like cucumber spears and put the brine over them just like cucumber pickles.

SO great. I freeze squash each years I slice them put on a cookie sheet with tin foil spray with Pam and let them freezer about 1 hour. Then put in freezer bags.
